I'm symptomatic of hypothyroid (hair loss, fatigue, cold, fuzzy head...) tsh=3.73 and t4=14. my dr has said it can't be thyroid. is this correct?

Agree w/ your MD: Its not likely your thyroid that holds you down. Lots of other disturbances can mimic same symptoms (depression, polycystic syndrome, vitamin /mineral deficiencies, even simply stress overload can do) . More work is needed to get it figured out. Good luck!

Yes: According to your results your thyroid gland is functioning and your level of thyroid hormone is normal.
