Hypothyroidism for 11 years. had 3rd baby sep19; armour thyroid med was recalled for being too potent and tsh went to .01 in may. been off all medicine for 8 wks and tsh is now .02. why still low? normal t4; had u/s on thyroid - norm: still nursing

Half life: Half life of T4 is about a week and it may take 6-8 weeks to return to normal from an overdose. You may wish to retest TSH levels in 3-4 weeks as the difference in .01 and .02 is not clinically meaningful.
