Mri of large mass was taken 4 years ago, came back as lipoma. another mri is being taken this week. can the lipoma turn cancerous?

Lipomas: are benign tumors. They don't turn malignant, although in rare cases a very low grade liposarcoma may be difficult to differentiate from a lipoma.
