Can a ct of the abd/pelvis with iv contrast only no oral show a bowel blockage?

Possibly: CT of the abdomen with IV contrast may show a bowel obstruction. If it does show up, that is good. If it does not show an obstruction and one is suspected oral contrast maybe needed.
