If my lymph node is being tested for lymphoma can the pathologist miss it by not seeing certain sections sent for culture?

Unlikely: It is very rare for only a part of the lymph node to be involved with lymphoma. So it is unlikely that part involved with lymphoma got sent for culture and the remaining part is not involved.

Hi. If one has lymphoma and does a neck CT scan of swollen lymph node, would the CT scan show an abnormality that leads to a biopsy or can it miss it?
