Enlarged node: Could be several things. Most likely reactive process due to infection. If the node persists after a round of antibiotics i would suggest an fna be performed. In this procedure a tiny needle is introduced and a small sample of cells is collected and sent to a pathologist for review.

Healthy 36 yo male. Aymptomatic enlaged inguinal lymph node for 2years. Ultrasound showed 2.6cm and morphologically normal in appearance. Doc not too worried but offered to refer me for excisional biopsy. Lymphoma likely? Biopsy needed?
