Abonormal nodes: One reason for abnormal lymph node swelling would be leukemia or lymphoma. They may test his blood, his bone marrow, or his lymph nodes. I hope the tests are negative. It is a test that's would want done if it were my child. Good luck.

If lymphoma/leukemia is in an enlarged lymph node and my surgeon removed a normal sized (1cm) node next to the enlarged node is that enough to rule out cancer if its benign? He said the big one (3.5cm) is too risky to remove?
3.5cm lymph node growing for years with no cause found. FNA clear but doesnt rule out lymphoma/leukemia. Doc removed an adjacent node of 1cm near the 3.5cm node which was clear.. he said this rules out lymphoma in the big nodes too.. is this true?
Is there any lymph node behind the knee and if there is can it present lymphoma ?
