47 yr peri. no period 10.5 mo. started again in june. have had 2 more. had biopsy in dec neg. suspect adenomyosis. could this be possible cancer?

Very small risk: What you are describing is a common perimenopausal pattern, and adenomyosis is not a risk factor for cancer. Periods every 2 to 3 weeks or less, prolonged bleeding more than 10 days, very heavy bleeding, or erratic spotting would be more of a concern and would require further evaluation.

Evaluation : It is typical to have irregular periods as one approaches menopausal. You mentioned a biopsy. I would contact your Obgyn to review your current situation. You can confirm what was biopsied and what the reason for the biopsy was. Together you can determine if any further work up or evaluation is needed
