? Jock itch ?: This could easily be a common fungus that often effects the feet and crotch of athletes (commonly called jock itch). It does cause the itching & color change of the affected skin. Scratching easily transfers it to other sites like your armpit, buttock. OTC foot fungus sprays may fix it over a few weeks or you can let your doc evaluate & prescribe something .
