A good insulin pump: If you and your doctor decide to use an Insulin pump, the omnipod is a popular choice. However, do not make this decision lightly. The pump only infuses insulin; you still have to check glucose--a lot! if the pump malfunctions, the Insulin stops and you may not know. You may not get better control from when youwere using conventional insulin. Talk to your endocrinologist.
