Glad you're better: I'm simply glad that you're no longer drinking and that you're eating more sensibly. At age 20, you're wiser than most of your peers and it's a great credit to you. I can't address "mucus", but you do need a physical exam and some basic labs -- including a blood count, routine chemistries, and an anti-nuclear antibody screen. I'm betting you're anemic and it'll be treatable. Best wishes.
