Have two days of cefdinir left with surgery on infected cyst tomorrow. this morning big toe swelled with first gout attack in several years. should i stop cefdinir? now drinking cherry juice & lots of water. pain only in toe not my joints as in past?

If you have an infection and two days to go on the antibiotic, it may be best to continue the antibiotic and speak to your general practitioner or rheumatologist about treating the flare of pain, whether gout or other cause.

Taking Cefdinir and Clindamycin for infected cyst. ER visit today with hives. Dr. said no Clindamycin. Gave me Prednisone 60mg, one dose tomorrow, also Benadryl 25mg for 5 days. Im concerned that Cefdinir is all I can tolerate, surgery 5/11?
