A member asked:

I think i may have conjunctivitis, i have a red eye but it's not sore or scratchy. how should i treat it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hard to say: Conjunctivitis just means the tissue is irritated/inflamed. It could be allergies, viruses, bacteria, chemicals, trapped dust, etc. Without an evaluation it is hard to decide a treatment. The easiest home care would be just to use artificial tears for a while to wash out any irritant. If it persists, have it seen.
