Hives for 5 days after naproxen once for water on knee - they are only in a band of about 6in around the affected knee and thick - why and what to do?

Naproxen hives : Yes Naproxen can cause hives . However the distribution of your hive which is only in a band is unusual. Did you happen to have a constricting piece of clothing around the area involved? Sometimes the local irritation can explain why only that area was triggered.
