A member asked:

Toddler hurt his wrist at slide. no swelling, can wiggle fingers too. pain when some pressure applied. should he go to er?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Do a test: Apply some pressure at the base of the hand where the thumb base joins the arm. If there is pain that is where a vulnerable wrist bone shows it may be cracked. If really painful it needs to be seen. Most toddlers have more cartilage than brittle bone in this site so they are less likely to break something.
