A member asked:

What does no dominant fibroids. leiomyomatous changes mean? my dr said ultrasound is perfect, but this sentence confuses me. im 52 menopausal woman

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Fibroids: "Fibroid tumors" are also "leiomyomata", and at menopause generally will become smaller secondary to decreasing estrogen levels. The comment about the ultrasound (translated) is that previously detected leiomyomata uteri (fibroids in the uterus) have not changed. These tumors are rarely malignant, so your physician is being very careful.
