Urgent care: Since you have a sore throat and fever I would not waste anytime getting properly evaluated and treated for your condition. Unless you can see your PCP immediately I suggest you go to urgent care. The sooner your condition is properly diagnosed and treated the better your chances are for a speedy recovery.
