Strep avalox: Avelox has active ingredients of Moxifloxacin hydrochloride. It is used in sinusitis, infection, pneumonia, bronchitis, bronchial infection. Common side effects of Avelox include rashes, anaphylaxis, breathing difficulty, dizziness, nausea. It should help but occasionally there are resistant germs.

Probably yes: Avelox probably will take care of the strep infection.Remeber white pockets do not necessarily mean you have have strep. If viral, the antibiotic will not help cure the infection.

Yes: Penicillin or Amoxicillin work well against strep throat, and are the usual choices. Avelox will work against strep too.

Maybe: The strep that infects the throat is usually strep pyogenes and is susceptible to avelox. ( meaning Avelox will kill the germ, usually) in some cases their is resistance to this antibiotic so one would still need to follow up with their doctor.
