Steroids/periods??: Corticosteroids do not have a relationship to the onset of periods. Menstrual cycles at age 39 may start to become shorter on occasion, with ovulation sometimes occurring on day 7-8 instead of day 14-16, and in those instances, your period will start 14 days after ovulation, and appear to be "early".
