Abnormal Bleeding: Bleeding after menopause is a sign of endometrial cancer. However, in my experience, most women with this symptom do not have endometrial cancer after a complete work-up. Never-the-less, its important to see an Ob/Gyn and get the evaluation done. Best wishes!

PM bleeding: Post menopausal bleeding is a definite sign of excess estrogen production effecting the growth of the endometrium which can lead to endometrial hyperplasia and ultimately cancer. See your GYN MD soon for an endometrial biopsy and an evaluation of the estrogen source causing the bleeding.
