Vaginal : Vaginal bleeding for a prolonged time, which sounds like a significant change for you, needs a medical evaluation. We all worry about a cancer diagnosis whenever we get sick, but fortunately that is very rare. I don't know your age, but if there is any possibility you are pregnant then you need a pregnancy test. Please be evaluated immediately by a gynecologist.

Pap test: Cervical cancer is highly preventable and treatable at early stages. The pap test (smear) is recommended for all females between thes of 21 and 65 get screened. If normal it may not be required for upto 3 years. Hpv testing can also be performed. Would reccommend that you go in to see your gynecologist, discuss your symptoms, and undergo appropriate exam and tests. Visit the cdc.Gov website.
