Breast symptoms: The symptoms you mention can be from a variety of causes so please see your doctor to determine what is going on. That will give you peace of mind and things may be better than you think. Peace and good health.

Probably not cancer: The good news is that breast cancer is rare in 17 year olds. Even if you have a family history, your age would make it unlikely. Unfortunately, that is not a guarantee of it being nothing serious. I would recommend you see your primary care doctor or gynecologist for a more complete evaluation of the situation. Mastitis, an inflammation of the breast tissue could potentially cause your symptoms.

Get Medical Checkup: Unless there is a recent change in size of one of your breasts, it can be a normal variation in size between the two breasts which are sometimes unequal in size, yet it is normal. However, if you feel the change is recent(within one year) then a physical examination by a doctor would be the best choice for you to rule out any abnormal growth(tumor) in the breast
