My jugular vein is very distended when i breathe out or lie down. it's been 2 weeks. ct scan showed no blockage. can this be because of muscle strain in the neck? should i be worried about something else?

Vein distension: If your jugular vein is not distended when you're sitting upright, there is no significant abnormality. Neck muscle strain is not related. A cardiologist can reassure you further if you still have concerns.
