Anytime and/or Now: Ectopic pregnancies tend to be emergent at 8 weeks+ gestation as the expanding Fallopian tube reaches its' limit of "stretch" and ruptures. However, most GYN MD's would like the opportunity to preserve your future fertility( & tube) by identifying an ectopic pregnancy at an earlier intact stage. See your GYN MD ASAP for evaluation.
