Infection: Infections can cause nerve damage, and perhaps that's the reason for the tingly feeling. Dental infections do not self-heal and require treatment to prevent spread of the infection. Please make arrangements to see a Dentist as soon as possible, before your chronic problem becomes an acute problem.
