A member asked:

I have recurring uti's & visible haematurias. ongoing for 5 years. always have high protein count in urine & i have an extra ureter on my left kidney? they never find the uti bacteria & i've had all testing done. no one can find a solution

Odd pattern: If there are never any bacteria, by definition, you do not have recurrent UTI's. Recurrent irritation or bloody urine may be related to the extra ureter. A visit with a urological surgeon for a consultation would be helpful if not done already.
