A member asked:

Have 2x1 x 1x1 cm irregular subsolid nodule in my right middle lobe. 51 yrs old. how would you treat it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Excise: Until a dx is established, it is essential to remove a primary growth regardless of the organ or gland of origin. When the dx is established histologically, one can decide to remove the lobe, remove the nodule by thorascope and or add chemotherapy to the therapeutic regimen.
