I had a recent cat scan for lbp. the scan found i have ankylosis across facets bilaterally on l4-5 . my spine dtr said its healed and i dont have it. i have been out of work for 4 mths. is he wrong saying its healed, wont i have it forever.

Rheumatology also: Are you saying that your spine doctor says you don’t have Ankylosing Spondylitis? If so, did he measure ESR and CRP? Do you have those numbers? This is most important as if they’re elevated you have polymyalgia rheumatica although you are a little on the young side it is easily treatable with a small dose of prednisone. There are other causes in the realm of Rheumatology. Get second opinion.
