I have had sharp pain in my left ear when blowing my nose for the past few days. no other symptoms other than a slightly runny nose. now i have bad pain in my left jaw joint.... especially when chewing. my left ear frequently has crinkly sounds.

Ear/Jaw joint: May be the same or two separate but concurrent problems. Would suggest seeing both an ENT and an Oral Surgeon to evaluate ear, jaw joint, and surrounding tissues.
