I have a chiari malformation. what can cause the sensation and sounds of pop rocks in my head and back of neck? others around me can hear it also! its not when moving neck. it doesnt seem to be related to any joints. its more like fluid moving.

Chiari: It is very difficult to tell what is causing this sensation and sound. Since others can hear it, I would suggest that you demonstrate it to your healthcare provider to see if further testing/evaluation is needed. Chiari malformations are within the brain and there are 3 types. Your healthcare provider can help you connect with a neurologist that could help if needed.
