See your PCP to view: You may have wax that's moving as you chew that was partially dislodged by your flushing. Your PCP can view this with an otoscope and remove it safely.

Probably wax: You probably have some wax trapped in your ear canal and that extra sound is from the wax hitting your eardrum.
