Chalky taste: May be reflux. NSAID ( non steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs of which aleve is one can) irritate the stomach and cause/exacerbate gastrits, reflux Consider rantidine or prevacid or ginger and see if ti helps. f/u/ w/ doc
