What causes a 25 year old males uvula to twitch making me gag? it's a visible twitch that's worse some days than others? scared of als. no other symptoms except left eye twitching. soft palate twitch but rises symmetrically. swollowing not bothered

Uvula: If uvula is elongated and touching tongue base, it can trigger a normal gag reflex. Can be shortened in office procedure. Not ALS.
