About 10% of: the time, the radiologist finds a potential abnormality on the screening mammo, or an area not well seen, requiring extra views to evaluate. 80% of the time this turns out to be nothing of concern. Of the remainder that go to biopsy, 80% of those turn out benign.

Get views done: Of these 80% need no further treatment except follow up in 6-12 months. Of the other 20% less than 25% have a positive biopsy result. Best wishes.
