Reevaluation: The tooth has to be reevaluated. The crown may be just tenths of a millimeter high, and a quick occlusal adjustment will bring relief. The root canal may have failed, and in that case a specialist Endodontist may be able to retreat it for you. The tooth may have fractured and then would require extraction/implant/crown. You may have a gum/bone issue. See your General Dentist for diagnosis.
