I had a root canal done on a front top tooth a couple of weeks ago and was waiting to get a crown. last night i bit into something and the tooth came very loose, almost to the point of falling out. what does this mean??

The root may have fractured, but you'll need to have your restoring dentist take a look to know for sure.

A top front tooth has one root that can fracture easy especially after a root canal. The tooth is non vital and prone to break under stress, If no or little bone is supporting the tooth it is also subject to fracture. Have your dentist examine area, you may need an implant if tooth can't be saved.
