Would a gyn have to physically examine me to know if i have fibroids, endometriosis, or pcos? or can i just verbally explain my symptoms without exam?

Both: To make an accurate assessment a doctor should take detailed history and then do a physical exam followed by ay appropriate testing. If you are concerned about an exam it is always ok just to start off talking and determine the best approach to the next steps

What could cause moderate to severe ovarian pain throughout my cycle? Gyn has ruled out PCOS and doesn't think it's endometriosis.
I have right achey pain from below my ribs to my upper back and nauseous on and off since November . Saw Gyn and had an ultrasound .. Negative for ovarian cysts, fibroids , iud misplacment and endometriosis. PCP didn't think it waw my gallbladder.
Will a pelvic exam and pap smear detect pcos and/or endometriosis?
