Uterine fibroids: Fibroids are common benign growths in the uterus. Some can cause pelvic pain, pressure and heavy periods. The size and location are important to determine treatment options. Your report indicates 3 large fibroids. Individual sonogram reports must be interpreted in the proper clinical context. Contact the ordering physician who can interpret it based on your symptoms.
