When is best time during menstrual cycle to have a vaginal ultrasound to look at endometrium and inside uterus in terms of looking for fibroids?

Anytime: There is no "best" time to look for fibroids in the menstrual cycle as they can be seen throughout the cycle. The endometrium grows more towards the end of the cycle, but the sonogram examiner will already have accounted for that growth by asking for a LMP.(last menstrual period) unless it is excessive.
