You're overdue: Any bleeding, pain, or (as in your case) swelling should be investigated. Please see your Dentist as most often your problem falls within a Dentist's envelope of care. Depending on the cause of the lump the Dentist may treat you or refer you to an Oral Surgeon or an ENT.
