A member asked:

I have had this squishy lump near my tongue on the floor of my mouth for years. it is mobile and not painful. an oral surgeon looked at it once and said it was probably my salivary gland duct? what does that mean? should i be worried?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Salivary cyst: It is most likely a benign salivary cyst. They can get bigger when they fill with fluid. If it bothers your you should have it evaluated by an ENT doctor.
