Results May Vary: Some small occlusions or blockage of the salivary gland ducts can be resolved by increasing the salivary flow by stimulation of the glands with sour or bitter tasting foods (sour lemon drops, grape drops, etc.) The effectiveness of the increased flow will depend upon the size and location of the obstruction. If you are not better within 24 - 48 hours, see you doc again.
