Eustachian tube: dysfunction is what you have, saline nasal washes can help, if problem persists, you need to see an ENT specialist, best wishes

Popping: May take several weeks to clear. Eustachian tube dysfunction. Best to not smoke or drink alcohol. Keep doing valsalva as needed..

Fluid/takes time: Mucous is made on the walls lining the middle ear space. In good health, that mucous finds its way to the throat through the eustachian tube. If the e tube is swollen shut or blocked, the mucous builds up and can be food for aggressive germs (ear infection). After treatment it takes time for the E tube swelling to go down & fluid to leave. Valsalva puts air up the tube. Sounds like it is clearing

Is likely remaining: fluid there, or Eustachian tube dysfunction, both of which can take several weeks or longer to resolve. Please see your doctor if it continues longer or worsens.
