Recovered from ear infection 3 weeks ago but still feel/hear fluid when i yawn,perform valsalva maneuver or bend down.ive tried inhaling steam,a nasal balloon and a saline nasal spray.it is not shifting & im worried about reinfection. please help!

Recheck: The recovery period may be prolonged and if there is non infected fluid, and no other symptoms your physician may elect to observe. Watch for yellow green nasal discharge, fever and cough.

Is it safe to perform the Valsalva maneuver while I have an ear infection? (plugging my nose and blowing to pop my ears). The discomfort is really bad, but I don't want to try it if it could make the pain worse or cause damage.
