had impacted wisdom tooth removed, now have abscess, if it rupture, would it rupture on outside of my cheek where its red or would it rupture in mouth?

Unknown: It may not rupture at all, but spread between the muscles. Please see the surgeon who extracted the tooth for further guidance.

See your surgeon: If you have an abscess, an accumulation of infected material, it requires treatment. Please return to the General Dentist or Oral Surgeon who removed your wisdom tooth for evaluation and appropriate treatment. Without examination we cannot product the future.
