No: It is a chronic neurologic disease which is not curable. There are medications which can often provide reasonable improvement.

If truly fibromyalgia, it represents a chronic pain syndrome, and indeed will plague you indefinitely. However, many cases of fibromyalgia if studied thoroughly maybe a presentation of a different neurological condition, and recommend seeing a neurologist and checking for a peripheral nerve disorder.
