Four out of 100: ? how common fibromyalgia (FM). About four percent population suffers FM. FM crosses all age (after infant age) and cultural groups. FM has genetic relationships; manifest as high degree overlap of FM & Joint Hypermobility Syndrome (known familial characteristics). FM more common in females: JHS, loose ligaments, childbirth, delicate pelvises, smaller muscles, more prone to biomechanical injury.
