I was given samples of epiduo by a board certified derm this past friday 12/29/17. a few had an expiration date of 3/17 and a few more that expired 10/16. is this ok as it is only temporary until i get my actual prescription in 2 days??

Expiration date: With rare exceptions tablets and capsule form medications retain potency long after expiration date. Liquid preparations do expire and should not be used after the expiration date. Gels,creams and ointments may last longer also but I wouldn't trust them after 1 year beyond expiration date.Your pharmacist can answer this question for you and would be a better authority.

Not a problem: At most there might be a slight decrease in potency of the product, but most will remain. I would ignore the issue for now and start using the product.
