A member asked:

How is selsun blue in comp. to prescription anti fungal ie ketaconazole for seborrheic derm? i feel long term use can't be good of rx, where does selsun fit in?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Both work well.: They may even be used together. Individual response varies. You may want to try each of them for a few months and see how they compare. Ketoconazole is safe long term. Active ingredient in Selsun Blue is selenium sulfide - you may be able to buy a cheaper generic version.
