Both work well.: They may even be used together. Individual response varies. You may want to try each of them for a few months and see how they compare. Ketoconazole is safe long term. Active ingredient in Selsun Blue is selenium sulfide - you may be able to buy a cheaper generic version.

Nizoral&neutrogena seem to relieve me of the itching from seborrheic dermatitis however don't really get rid of the flakes, how's selsun blue instead?
