4 cm ovarian cyst: The ovarian cyst was probably present, and is a common occurrence, but does not have an effect on a 5-6 week pregnancy. Sometimes, a cyst represents a "failed ovulation" and fluid accumulates in the cyst until it spontaneously ruptures.
